National Trails Day has become a tradition at Crowder’s Mountain State Park. Please join us for this special volunteer workday.  We will meet at the Boulders Access at 108 Van Dyke Road, Kings Mountain, NC at 830am for refreshments, fellowship, a brief safety meeting and introduction of the trail crew leaders.  Following the meeting, the trail crew leaders will divide the volunteers into crews and work on trail maintenance projects until 12pm.  Water, snacks, work gloves, safety glasses, insect repellant and tools will be provided by the park.  Dress appropriately for outdoor work and bring any medications that you may need. Trail work days are weather dependent.  Call the Park office at 704-853-5375 if questions. Volunteers will be treated to lunch after the workday by the Friends of Crowders Mountain, Inc. All are invited to the Friends of Crowders Mountain Board meeting at 1pm.
